Just think today your sitting on a warm beach on the Greek Islands and tomorrow your on top of the Italian Alps, surrounded by nothing but mist and snow. The reason why this photo really stands out as one of my favourites is because of the black white imagery, and of course remembering how angry I was when my camera stopped working! and how quickly I stopped being angry when I turned to admire the view.
