Stair Sections

First stair i created with some particular concepts in mind. if the stair is viewed side on it seems with solid and heavy although when walking up the stairs the concept is very different as between each step it is hollow and the balustrade is only on one side both of these elements gives a perception of lightness. also one of the stair is thinker then other in order to support its structure, this allows a different looking view from whichever angle its viewed at.

The second stair a complete contrast of the first stair, when viewed from the front it looks much heavy and more solid as the runner of the stairs extend down although when viewed from any other angle it seems much lighter and almost floats.
